The St. Augustine Branch of NLAPW has several events and shows planned for the Fall. These will involve art shows, book sales, and possibly speaking events and demonstrations. MARCH 2010 - Rowita Awards and the 'Muses Revealed' Women's History Month Visual Arts Show

Muses Revealed is part of the celebration of Women's History Month called Festival of the Muses.
The event is a collaboration of the St. Johns Cultural Council, The National League of American Pen Women-St. Augustine Branch, The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine, Jane's Stories Press Foundation, The Limelight Theatre, and The Cyprian Center for the Expressive Arts.
The artwork personifed the title Muses Revealed, and included all forms of expression in the visual arts including but not limited to mixed media, 2 and 3 dimensional pieces, and photography.
DECEMBER 2009 - JANUARY 2010 - Limelight Theatre - Art Exhibit
Pen Women Art exhibit for the foyer of the Limelight Theatre's presentation of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas during December 2009 and January 2010 showings. Artists featured scenes that complemented the theme of the presentation.
NOVEMBER 2009 - GIFTS FROM THE HEART SHOW
The NLAPW St. Augustine Branch held a show, GIFTS FROM THE HEART, in the Ponce de Leon Mall of St. Augustine during the weekend of November 13 - 15. Artists and photographers exhibited their work on exhibit and the authors signed books.
2008-2009 Events:
MAY 2009 - 130 KING GALLERY SHOW
The St. Augustine Branch of NLAPW will be featured in 130 King Street Gallery in St. Augustine, FL, where they will be showcasing their art and books. The opening is Friday May 1, with a wine & cheese reception in the gallery from 5 to 9 p.m. Come and meet our artists and writers!
MARCH 2009 - WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH EVENTS
From February 22 to March 20, the St. Augustine Branch of the National League of American Pen Women, in cooperation with several other organizations throughout St. Augustine, celebrated Women's History month with an art show and the ROWITA Awards - Recognizing Outstanding Women in the Arts (ROWITA) awards. Award recipients were Rize Cole, Karen Harvey, Dr. Dorothy Israel, Eva Doolittle, Barbara Vickers, Emma Lee Carpenter and Anne Kraft.
