Membership

You may attend our meetings a few times as a guest and then decide whether you would like to become one of us. You have three options: You can become an ACTIVE member, an ASSOCIATE member, or a PATRON.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP requires that a prospective member be a citizen of the U.S. and meet all the qualification requirements. She has to complete an application, submit proper credentials and three proofs of payment for work done within the previous five years.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP requires the same professional qualifications as Active membership, except that proof of payment for work is not required. An Associate member is not eligible to vote in national elections, nor can she become a branch president or treasurer.

ADVOCATES are invited to join the regular branch meetings and social functions as guests. We encourage working toward membership. To become an Advocate, we encourage you to donate $25 per year.

DUES:

Active and Associate Members pay dues of $52.50 per year. This charge consists of $40 in national dues, $5 in state dues, and $7.50 in branch dues. The first year you join the organization you also pay a $15 processing fee.
